Dropbox Setup

Configure your in-world product delivery system

Complete these steps in order for your Dropbox to work properly.

1 Rez Your Dropbox

From your Welcome Pack inventory:

  1. Find BloggerSL: Dropbox (rezz)
  2. Rez it on land where you have permissions
  3. Wait for the "DROPBOX READY" message
  4. The display will show your brand name and "ONLINE" status

If you see "Authentication failed", visit bloggersl.com to check your account status.

2 Rename Notecards (Required!)

Your Welcome Pack contains 12 notification notecards. You MUST rename all of them to match your brand name:

Original:

BRAND: Approved

Your Brand (example):

Fashion House: Approved

All 12 notecards:

Approved
Rejected
Submission Approved
Submission Rejected
Suspended
Reactivated
New Product
Product Delivered
New Message
Invite Received
Deadline Warning
Deadline Passed

Name must match EXACTLY (case sensitive!)

Fashion House: Approved

FashionHouse: Approved (missing space)

Fashion House:Approved (missing space after colon)

3 Add Notecards to Dropbox

  1. Right-click your Dropbox - Edit - Contents
  2. Drag all 12 renamed notecards into the Dropbox
  3. You should see "All notecards present"

Until notecards are added, you'll see "Missing X notecards" warnings.

4 Add Your Products

  1. Right-click your Dropbox - Edit - Contents
  2. Drag your product boxes (OBJECTS) into the Dropbox
  3. Products sync with BloggerSL website automatically

Only OBJECTS

Names must match website

Max 70 items

Storage Limit: 70 Items

Why 70 items? Second Life scripts have memory limits. Too many items cause script memory errors (stack-heap collision). The 70-item limit ensures smooth operation.

If you have more than 70 products, use the Storage ADDON:

Main Dropbox
= 70 items
+ 1 Storage ADDON
= 140 items
+ 2 Storage ADDONs
= 210 items

Storage ADDONs do NOT need notecards.

Demo Products

You can include demo versions:

  1. Add demo items to Dropbox (name must include "DEMO")
  2. Go to bloggersl.com/admin - Products - Edit product
  3. Enable "Has Demo" and select the demo item

Understanding Plan Limits

The main difference between plans is the capacity limits:

Maximum Bloggers

The maximum number of approved bloggers you can have in your program at once. This doesn't include pending applications or waiting list.

Maximum Products

The maximum number of active products in your inventory. You can archive old products to free up space.

Managers & Co-Creators

Team members who can help manage your brand. See the Team Management section for details on roles and permissions.

Custom Questions

Additional questions you can add to your blogger application form. Useful for gathering specific information from applicants.

Waiting List

When your blogger program is full, new applicants can join a waiting list. This is the maximum size of that list.

ENTERPRISE EXCLUSIVE

Multi-Brand Management

The Enterprise plan's most powerful feature: manage multiple brands under a single subscription. This is ideal for brand owners who operate several stores or want to onboard partner brands.

How Multi-Brand Works

1

Enterprise Brand Adds Co-Creators

The main brand (Enterprise subscriber) promotes bloggers to Co-Creator role through the Team Management page.

2

Co-Creators Set Up Their Brand Identity

Each Co-Creator can create their own brand identity from their Blogger Profile → CoCreator Identity tab. They set their brand name and logo.

3

Co-Creators Upload Products via Dropbox

Co-Creators use the brand's Dropbox to upload their products. The products appear in the main brand's panel.

4

Products Show Co-Creator's Brand

When bloggers view products, they see the Co-Creator's brand logo and name alongside the product. This maintains each brand's identity.

Example: How Products Appear

MM
Summer Dress Collection
M
Mini Marka
Co-Creator Product
LC
Designer Heels
L
LECASTLE
Main Brand Product
SS
Beach Accessories Set
S
Sun Style
Co-Creator Product

All products are managed from a single panel, but each shows its creator's brand identity

Single Subscription

Pay once, manage multiple brands. No need for separate subscriptions for each store.

Shared Blogger Pool

All Co-Creator brands share the same blogger roster. More exposure for everyone.

Unified Dashboard

Monitor all products and submissions from one central panel. Easy oversight.

Brand Identity Preserved

Each Co-Creator's brand maintains its own logo and name. Customers see the right brand.

Setting Up Co-Creator Brand Identity

If you're a Co-Creator on an Enterprise brand, here's how to set up your brand identity:

1

Go to Your Blogger Profile

Navigate to bloggersl.com/blogger/profile.php

2

Find the "CoCreator Identity" Tab

This tab only appears if you're a Co-Creator on an Enterprise brand

3

Enter Your Brand Name

This is what bloggers will see next to your products

4

Upload Your Brand Logo

Either upload an image file or enter a Second Life texture UUID

Tip: Set up your brand identity before uploading products. Products uploaded before setting up your identity won't show your brand logo retroactively.

Which Plan Should You Choose?

Choose Platinum if...

  • You're starting out or have a small-to-medium blogger program
  • You need up to 250 bloggers and 150 products
  • You want all features at the most affordable price

Choose Platinum+ if...

  • You have a larger blogger program (up to 600 bloggers)
  • You release many products and need higher limits (250 products)
  • You want more custom application questions (10 vs 6)

Choose Enterprise if...

  • You own multiple brands and want to manage them together
  • You want to onboard partner brands as Co-Creators
  • You need maximum capacity (850 bloggers, 500 products)
  • You want one subscription fee instead of paying for multiple brands
You can upgrade anytime: Start with Platinum and upgrade to Platinum+ or Enterprise as your brand grows. Your data, bloggers, and products are preserved.

Team Management

Build your brand team with managers and co-creators

As your brand grows, you may need help managing your blogger program. The Team Management page lets you promote trusted bloggers to Co-Creators or Managers, giving them specific permissions to help run your brand. This is essential for large brands with many bloggers.

What is Team Management?

Team Management allows you to delegate administrative tasks to trusted team members. Instead of handling everything yourself, you can:

Managers

Senior team members with broader access including settings and announcements. Available on all plans.

Enterprise

Co-Creators

Partner brands with their own identity. Can upload products under their own brand name and logo. Enterprise only.

Understanding Team Roles

There are three roles in your team hierarchy:

Brand Owner (You)

Full access to everything. Can promote/demote anyone, manage all settings, and control the subscription.

Manager

Senior team member. Can have almost all permissions including settings, announcements, and subscription management (if granted).

Enterprise

Co-Creator

Partner brand with own identity. Can upload products under their own brand name and logo.

Blogger

Regular team member. Can receive products, submit photos, and view their own assignments. No admin access.

Dashboard Overview

At the top of the page, you'll see three stat cards showing your team composition:

1 / 2
Managers
Enterprise
3 / 10
Co-Creators
24
Bloggers
Note: The numbers show current count vs. your plan limit. Limits vary by subscription tier (Platinum, Platinum+, Enterprise).

Promoting Team Members

To promote a blogger to Manager (all plans) or Co-Creator (Enterprise only):

Note: The "Promote to Co-Creator" button only appears for Enterprise subscription brands.
1

Find the blogger in the list

Use the search box to find them by name or UUID.

2

Click the promote button

Choose "Promote to Co-Creator" or "Promote to Manager" (if available).

3

Confirm the promotion

A confirmation dialog will appear. Click confirm to proceed.

4

Set their permissions

After promotion, click "Permissions" to grant specific access rights.

Tip: Start with minimal permissions and add more as needed. You can always adjust permissions later.

Permissions System

When you click "Permissions" on a Manager or Co-Creator, you can grant these specific abilities:

Manage Permissions: Sarah Blogger

Warning: Be careful with "Manage Settings" and "Manage Subscription" permissions. Only grant these to people you fully trust.

Demoting Team Members

If you need to remove someone's elevated access:

Demote to Blogger

Removes all admin permissions. The person becomes a regular blogger again but keeps their assignment history.

What Happens

All granted permissions are revoked immediately. They can no longer access admin pages for your brand.

Good to know: Demoting someone doesn't remove them from your blogger program. They simply lose their admin access and go back to being a regular blogger.
Co-Creator Warning: When you demote a Co-Creator to Blogger, all products they uploaded will be permanently deleted, including any assignments for those products. Their CoCreator brand identity will also be removed. This action cannot be undone.

What Can Team Members See?

When a blogger is promoted, they gain access to your brand's admin panel. Here's what they can access based on permissions:

Permission Gives Access To
Manage Bloggers Applications page, Bloggers list, can approve/reject applications
Invite Bloggers Invite Bloggers page, Browse Bloggers page
Manage Products Products page, can add/edit products, assign to bloggers
View Submissions Submissions page, can review and approve/reject photos
Send Announcements Announcements page, can send messages to all bloggers
Manage Ads Advertising page, can create and manage brand ads
Manage Settings Settings page, Brand Profile, Rules & Requirements
Manage Subscription Subscription page, payment history, balance top-up

Blogger Perspective

When a blogger is promoted to Manager or Co-Creator, here's what changes for them:

What They Gain

  • Access to your brand's admin panel (sidebar shows "Admin" section)
  • Can switch between their blogger dashboard and your brand's admin panel
  • Pages they can access depend on the permissions you grant
  • Their role badge shows as "Manager" or "Co-Creator" on your team

What Stays the Same

  • They still have their own blogger dashboard for other brands
  • They can still receive products and submit photos as usual
  • Their blogger profile and stats are unchanged

Best Practices

Choose Wisely

Only promote bloggers who have been with your brand for a while and have proven trustworthy. Check their submission history first.

Least Privilege

Start with minimal permissions. If they need more access, you can always add it later. It's easier to give than to take away.

Communicate Clearly

Tell your new team members what's expected of them. Explain their responsibilities and how they can help.

Monitor Activity

Check in periodically to see how your team is doing. Review their actions and provide feedback when needed.

Pro Tip: A well-organized team can help your brand grow faster. Start with one Co-Creator to help with submissions, then expand as needed.

Blogger Management

Manage your approved bloggers, vacation requests, and VIP assignments

The Blogger Management page (/admin/bloggers.php) is your central hub for managing all approved bloggers in your brand. Here you can freeze/unfreeze bloggers, manage vacation requests, assign VIP statuses, extend deadlines, and more.

Dashboard Overview

At the top of the page, you'll see stat cards showing your blogger composition at a glance:

Freeze Blogger

  • Cannot receive new products
  • Cannot request products from pool
  • Can still submit pending assignments

Unfreeze Blogger

  • Can see all products again

When to Freeze: Use freezing for temporary situations like performance issues, missed deadlines, or when a blogger requests a break. Frozen bloggers can send an "unfreeze request" with an appeal message that you can review.

Remove & Restore Bloggers

Removing a blogger from your brand is a soft delete - you can restore them later if needed:

Remove from Brand

  • All assignments are cancelled
  • All submissions are deleted
  • Brand connection is severed

Restore Blogger

  • Blogger becomes active again
  • Can receive new products
  • Previous submissions remain deleted
Warning: When you remove a blogger, their assignments and submissions are permanently deleted. Even if you restore them later, their previous work will not be recovered.

Vacation Request Management

Bloggers can request vacation time through their dashboard. You'll see pending requests in the "Vacation Pending" filter:

Co-Creator Guide

For Co-Creators on Enterprise brands

Enterprise Only Feature

The Co-Creator role with brand identity features is exclusively available on Enterprise subscription plans.

This guide is for bloggers who have been promoted to Co-Creator role by an Enterprise brand. As a Co-Creator, you can manage your own brand identity while sharing the main brand's blogger network and subscription.

What is a Co-Creator?

A Co-Creator is a special role available only on Enterprise brand subscriptions. It allows multiple brands to operate under a single subscription:

  • You get your own brand identity (name & logo)
  • You upload products via your own CoCreator Dropbox
  • Your products appear with your brand logo to bloggers
  • You share the same blogger roster with the main brand
  • No separate subscription needed

Becoming a Co-Creator

You can't apply to become a Co-Creator. An Enterprise brand owner must promote you through their Team Management page. When you're promoted:

1

Automatic Package Delivery

BloggerSL automatically sends you the CoCreator Package containing everything you need.

2

Access Granted

You gain access to the brand's admin panel and the CoCreator Identity tab in your profile.

CoCreator Package Contents

When you become a Co-Creator, you automatically receive a package in Second Life. Here's what's inside:

BloggerSL: CoCreator Dropbox (rezz)

Your personal dropbox for uploading products. Rez this on your land to send products to bloggers.

Main Item

BloggerSL: LOGO

Official BloggerSL logo texture. Use this in your promotional materials when inviting bloggers to the platform.

BloggerSL: LOGO TRANSPARENT

Transparent version of the BloggerSL logo. Ideal for overlays and promotional graphics.

BloggerSL: Payment HUD v2.2

Pay the main brand's subscription balance directly from Second Life.

Pays main brand's subscription

Need the package again?

If you lost your CoCreator Package or need it again, click the "CoCreator Paketi" button at the bottom of your sidebar in the Blogger Panel. A new package will be delivered to you in Second Life.

Setting Up Your Brand Identity

As a Co-Creator, you can set up your own brand identity. This is how bloggers will see your products in the system.

1

Go to CoCreator Identity Tab

In your Blogger Panel, go to Profile Settings and click the CoCreator Identity tab.

bloggersl.com/blogger/profile.php?tab=cocreator
2

Enter Your Brand Name

Type your brand name in the "Marka Adı" (Brand Name) field. This is how bloggers will see your brand.

3

Upload Your Logo

You have two options for your brand logo:

Upload File

Upload a logo image directly from your computer (recommended).

Texture UUID

Enter a Second Life texture UUID if you prefer.

4

Save Your Identity

Click "Kaydet" (Save) to save your brand identity. Your products will now display with your brand logo and name.

Connected Enterprise Brands

At the bottom of the CoCreator Identity page, you'll see a list of Enterprise brands you're connected to as a Co-Creator. This shows which brand's subscription you're operating under.

Using the CoCreator Dropbox

Your CoCreator Dropbox works the same as a regular Dropbox, but products you upload will show your Co-Creator brand identity.

1

Rez the BloggerSL: CoCreator Dropbox (rezz) on your land

2

Add your products and notecards to the Dropbox

3

Products appear in the main brand's panel with your brand logo

4

Bloggers see your products with your Co-Creator brand identity

Payment HUD for Co-Creators

As a Co-Creator, you can help pay the main brand's subscription using the Payment HUD included in your package.

How It Works

  • Wear the BloggerSL: Payment HUD v2.2 from your package
  • The HUD shows the main brand's balance, not yours
  • Any L$ you add goes to the main brand's subscription balance
  • This keeps the Enterprise subscription active for everyone
Why would Co-Creators pay?

Some Enterprise brands share subscription costs with their Co-Creators. This is optional and depends on your agreement with the main brand owner.

Quick Reference

As a Co-Creator You CAN:

  • Create your own brand identity
  • Upload products via CoCreator Dropbox
  • Access the brand's admin panel
  • Help pay the subscription (optional)
  • Perform tasks based on your permissions

As a Co-Creator You CANNOT:

  • Change the main brand's settings
  • Add or remove other team members
  • Change subscription plan
  • Access features outside your permissions
Need Help?

If you have questions about your Co-Creator role, contact the Enterprise brand owner who promoted you. They can adjust your permissions and provide guidance specific to their brand.

When you reach your plan's blogger limit, the Approve button becomes disabled. A warning banner suggests upgrading your subscription plan to add more bloggers.

Approaching Limit

When you have 5 or fewer blogger slots remaining, a yellow info banner appears showing how many slots are left and suggesting a plan upgrade.

Tips & Best Practices

Review Regularly

Check your pending applications frequently. Bloggers appreciate quick responses, and timely reviews keep your program active.

Check Portfolios

Always visit the blogger's social links and sample work before making a decision. Quality content creators will have active and well-maintained profiles.

Provide Rejection Reasons

When rejecting an application, providing a reason helps the blogger understand what they can improve. This builds a positive reputation for your brand.

Use Reconsider Wisely

If you rejected a blogger by mistake or their portfolio has improved, use the "Reconsider" button to move them back to pending for another review.

Pay Attention to Warnings

Blacklist warnings and "previously left" alerts are there to protect your brand. Review these carefully before approving.

Make your broadcasts feel personal by using dynamic tags. These are automatically replaced with each blogger's information when the message is sent.

Input:

Hello {sl_name}, we have a new product!

Output:

Hello Jane Doe, we have a new product!

{greeting} Time-based Greeting

Input:

Personalization is automatically enabled when you use these tags. You can use them in both the subject and message body. Greeting is based on SL time (PST).

2

Tips & Best Practices

Write Clear Subjects

Keep subject lines short and descriptive. Bloggers decide whether to read based on the subject alone.

Use Priority Wisely

Reserve "High" and "Urgent" for truly important messages. Overusing high priority reduces its impact.

Monitor Read Rates

Check the read percentage on previous broadcasts. If rates are low, try shorter messages with more engaging subjects.

Link Products

When announcing a new product, always link it using the product dropdown. This gives bloggers direct access to the product details.

The reviewed date and reviewer's name are shown for transparency, so you can see who approved or rejected each submission and when.

Direct Link to a Submission

You can link directly to a specific submission using the URL parameter:

submissions.php?open_sub_id=123

When a submission ID is provided in the URL, the page automatically scrolls to that submission card and highlights it with a purple pulse animation. This is useful when clicking submission links from notifications or other admin pages.

Tips & Best Practices

Review Promptly

Bloggers appreciate fast feedback. Try to review pending submissions within 24-48 hours to keep your program running smoothly.

Always Click the Links

Don't just approve blindly. Open the Flickr, Blog, and other links to verify the content quality, proper credits, and that the product is featured correctly.

Leave Positive Comments

When approving, add a brief comment like "Great styling!" or "Love the lighting!". It motivates bloggers and builds a positive relationship.

Be Constructive When Rejecting

Always provide a clear rejection reason. Explain what's missing or needs improvement so the blogger can fix it and resubmit successfully.

Use Approve All Carefully

The "Approve All" button is powerful but use it wisely. It's best for brands with trusted, established bloggers. For newer bloggers, individual review ensures quality.

Deadline Tracker

Track all assignment deadlines and manage extension requests

What is the Deadline Tracker?

The Deadline Tracker gives you a centralized view of all active assignment deadlines across your bloggers. It helps you identify overdue tasks, upcoming deadlines, and manage time extension requests from bloggers who need more time to complete their work.

Each assignment shows a color-coded badge indicating how much time is left:

5 days overdue

Overdue - The deadline has passed. The badge pulses to draw attention. A "Remove Blogger" button also appears.

Due today

Due Today - Shows remaining hours if still within the day.

2 days left

Urgent - Less than 2 days remaining. Consider reminding the blogger.

7 days left

Safe - More than 2 days remaining. No immediate action needed.

Extension Requests

Bloggers can request deadline extensions from their dashboard. When they do, a special section appears at the top of the Deadline Tracker:

Extension Requests

2 pending

Summer Dress

JaneDoe Resident

+7 days

I need a few more days due to a RL emergency.

Approve

Extends the deadline by the requested number of days. You can add optional admin notes to explain your decision.

Reject

Denies the extension request. You can optionally provide a rejection reason so the blogger understands why.

Filtering Options

You can narrow down the deadline list using two types of filters:

Status Filter (Stat Cards)

Overdue - Past deadline
Today - Due today
Urgent - Due within 2 days
All - Show everything

Blogger Filter

A dropdown menu lets you filter by a specific blogger. Only bloggers with active assignments (delivered or submitted status) appear in the list.

All Bloggers

Assignments Table

The main area displays all assignments sorted by deadline (earliest first). On desktop, this is a full table; on mobile, it switches to compact cards.

Product Blogger Status Deadline Time Left Actions
Winter Coat
JaneDoe Pending 05 Feb 2025 3d overdue
Summer Dress
AvaStyle Submitted 12 Feb 2025 5d left

Pending Status

The product has been delivered/assigned to the blogger but they haven't submitted their work yet. They're still working on it.

Submitted Status

The blogger has submitted their work (photos/blog post) but it hasn't been reviewed yet. Awaiting your approval.

Available Actions

Extend Deadline

Opens a modal where you can add 1 to 30 extra days to the blogger's deadline. The product name and blogger name are shown for confirmation. This is useful when a blogger is close to finishing but needs a bit more time.

Remove Blogger from Brand

Only appears for overdue assignments. This is a serious action that removes the blogger completely from your brand:

  • Deletes all their assignments
  • Deletes all their submissions
  • Removes their brand connection

This action cannot be undone. A confirmation modal appears before proceeding.

Tips & Best Practices

Check Daily

Make the Deadline Tracker part of your daily routine. A quick glance at the stat cards tells you if any urgent attention is needed.

Be Flexible with Extensions

Bloggers may have real-life commitments. Granting reasonable extensions (3-7 days) keeps your program healthy and bloggers happy.

Use Removal as Last Resort

Removing a blogger deletes all their work permanently. Try extending deadlines or sending a broadcast message first. Only remove consistently inactive bloggers.

Use Blogger Filter

If a specific blogger has multiple products assigned, use the blogger filter to see all their deadlines at once and assess their workload.

Feedback & Suggestions

Send feedback, report bugs, or suggest new features

What is the Feedback Page?

The Feedback page allows you to communicate directly with the BloggerSL team. You can report bugs, request new features, suggest improvements, or share any general feedback about the platform.

Tips & Best Practices

Always Attach Screenshots for Bugs

A screenshot showing the bug helps the development team understand and fix the issue much faster.

Be Specific

Instead of "something is broken", describe exactly what happened, which page you were on, and what you expected to happen.

Choose the Right Category

Selecting the correct category (Bug, Feature Request, etc.) helps the team prioritize and route your feedback appropriately.

Platform Blacklist

Block unreliable bloggers across the platform

What is the Platform Blacklist?

The Platform Blacklist allows brands to report and flag bloggers who have violated rules, behaved unprofessionally, or caused issues. When you add a blogger to the blacklist, other brands on the platform can see the report (if made public) and take precautions.

This is a collective safety feature available to all brands on the platform.

Adding a Blogger to the Blacklist

Fill out the form at the top of the page to add a blogger to the blacklist. The following fields are available:

1

SL UUID *

The Second Life UUID of the blogger. Must be a valid UUID format (e.g. 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000). The blogger must already exist in the BloggerSL system.

2

SL Name *

The Second Life display name of the blogger being reported.

3

Reason *

A detailed description of why you are blacklisting this blogger. Be specific — include what happened, when, and any relevant context.

4

Evidence URL (Optional)

A link to evidence supporting your report, such as a screenshot, a blog post, or a conversation log. Other brands can click this link to verify your claim.

5

Severity Level

Rate how serious the violation is:

LOW

Minor issue

MEDIUM

Default

HIGH

Serious violation

CRITICAL

Severe breach

6

Expires In (Days)

Set how many days the blacklist entry should last. Enter 0 for a permanent ban. For example, entering 30 means the entry will automatically expire after 30 days.

7

Share with Platform

When checked (enabled by default), your blacklist entry will be visible to all brands on the platform. If unchecked, only your brand will see this entry.

Validation Rules

  • SL UUID must be a valid UUID format
  • The blogger must already be registered in the BloggerSL system
  • A blogger cannot be blacklisted twice (if they already have an active entry)
  • SL UUID, SL Name, and Reason are required fields

Blacklist Entries

Below the form, you'll see all blacklist entries. This includes entries shared publicly by other brands as well as your own private entries.

Each entry shows:

Blogger Name

The SL name of the blacklisted blogger

Severity Badge

Color-coded badge showing the severity level (Low = gray, Medium = yellow, High = orange, Critical = red)

Reason

The detailed reason provided for the blacklist

Added By

Which brand and which admin added this entry, along with the date it was created

Expiry

Shows the expiry date if temporary, or "Permanent" if it has no expiry. Expired entries are marked with an "Expired" badge.

Evidence Link

If provided, a clickable link to the evidence supporting the report (opens in a new tab)

Removing a Blacklist Entry

Each blacklist entry has a red trash icon button on the right side. Clicking it will prompt you with a confirmation dialog before the entry is permanently deleted.

Who Can Remove?

  • The admin who originally added the entry can remove it
  • Super admins can remove any entry
  • Other team members cannot remove entries they didn't create

Tips & Best Practices

Always Provide Evidence

Including an evidence URL (screenshot, blog link, etc.) makes your report much more credible and helps other brands make informed decisions.

Be Detailed in Your Reason

A vague reason like "bad blogger" is not helpful. Explain what happened, when, and what rules were broken for maximum impact.

Use Temporary Bans for Minor Issues

For first-time offenses or minor issues, consider setting an expiry (e.g. 30 or 60 days) instead of a permanent ban. Reserve permanent bans for severe or repeated violations.

Public vs. Private

Public entries help warn other brands. Use private entries only for internal tracking where you don't want other brands to see the report.

Product Categories

Organize your products into categories

What Are Product Categories?

Product Categories let you organize your products into groups (e.g. Clothing, Jewelry, Home & Decor). Bloggers can browse your products by category, making it easier to find what they want to blog about.

There are two types of categories:

STANDARD

Pre-defined global categories available to all brands. These cannot be edited or deleted and are always active.

CUSTOM

Categories you create yourself. You can edit, delete, and toggle these on/off. Subject to your category limit.

Dashboard Stats

At the top of the page, three stat cards give you a quick overview:

Total Categories

How many custom categories you have vs. your limit

Active Categories

Number of your custom categories that are currently active

Remaining Slots

How many more custom categories you can create

Adding a Category

Click the "Add Category" button to open the creation modal. Fill in the following fields:

1

Category Name *

The display name of your category. A URL-friendly slug is generated automatically from this name.

2

Description (Optional)

A short description explaining what products belong in this category.

3

Icon

Choose an icon to represent the category visually:

📌 Tag 👕 Clothing 💎 Jewelry 👟 Shoes 🏠 Home 🎨 Decor 🎁 Gift ⭐ Featured
4

Color

Pick a color using the color picker. This color is used for the category icon background throughout the interface.

Categories Table

All your categories are displayed in a table (desktop) or card list (mobile). Each entry shows:

Icon & Name

The category icon (with your chosen color) and name. Standard categories show a purple "Standard" badge.

Slug

The URL-friendly version of the name, generated automatically

Description

The optional description text you provided

Product Count

How many of your products are assigned to this category

Status Toggle

Click the Active/Inactive badge on custom categories to toggle their visibility. Standard categories are always active.

Category Actions

Custom categories have two action buttons in the Actions column:

Edit

Opens a modal where you can change the category name, description, icon, and color. The slug is regenerated from the new name.

Delete

Permanently removes the category after a confirmation prompt. Products in this category will have their category set to "None" (uncategorized).

Standard categories show "Standard Category" text instead of action buttons. They cannot be edited, deleted, or deactivated.

Tips & Best Practices

Keep Categories Broad

Use broad categories like "Clothing" or "Home & Garden" rather than overly specific ones. This makes browsing easier for bloggers.

Use Status Toggle for Seasonal Categories

Instead of deleting seasonal categories (like "Holiday Collection"), simply toggle them inactive. You can reactivate them next season without recreating.

Choose Distinct Colors

Give each category a unique color so they are visually distinguishable at a glance in the products list.

Deleting a Category Does Not Delete Products

When you delete a category, the products inside it are not deleted. They simply become uncategorized and can be reassigned to another category.

Audit Log

Track every action taken in your brand

What is the Audit Log?

The Audit Log records every significant action taken by team members in your brand. It helps you monitor who did what, when, and to whom — providing full accountability and transparency.

Access: Only Brand Admins can view the audit log. Regular team members do not have access.

Filtering & Searching

The audit log provides several ways to find specific entries:

Text Search

Search through log entries by keyword. Matches against descriptions, target names, and other text fields.

Category Filter

Filter logs by action category. Available categories:

Blogger Product Submission Application Settings Subscription Team Communication Billing

User Filter

Filter by specific team member. The dropdown shows all users who have at least one audit log entry.

Date Range

Set a start and/or end date to narrow down logs to a specific time period.

You can also use the quick filter pills below the filter form to quickly switch between categories with a single click.

Log Entry Details

Each audit log entry shows the following information:

Date & Time

When the action was performed (date + exact time)

User

The team member who performed the action, along with their IP address

Action

The type of action performed (e.g. "Approved Application", "Updated Settings", "Removed Blogger"), shown with a color-coded icon and category label

Target

The entity affected by the action (e.g. a blogger name, product name, or setting), shown with the target type and ID

Details & Changes

A description of the action. If the action involved data changes, a "View Changes" button reveals the old and new values in JSON format (red for old, green for new).

Pagination

Audit logs are displayed 30 entries per page. At the bottom of the table, you'll see:

  • A count showing which entries you're viewing (e.g. "Showing 1-30 of 245")
  • Page number buttons to navigate between pages
  • Previous/Next arrows for quick navigation

All your current filters are preserved when switching pages.

Tips

Monitor Team Activity

Regularly check the audit log to ensure team members are acting within their permissions. Filter by user to review a specific team member's activity.

Use "View Changes" for Troubleshooting

If something looks wrong with your settings or data, use the "View Changes" feature to see exactly what was changed and by whom. The old/new value diff makes it easy to identify problems.

Use Date Filters for Periodic Reviews

Set a date range to review activities for a specific week or month. This is helpful for regular accountability checks.

Balance History

View your transaction history and balance statistics

What is Balance History?

The Balance History page shows a complete record of all financial transactions for your brand. This includes deposits made via the Payment HUD, subscription deductions, and any refunds.

You can access this page from the My Subscription page via the "View Balance History" link.

Access: Brand Admins, Super Admins, or team members with the Manage Subscription permission.

Statistics Cards

Four stat cards at the top of the page give you a financial overview:

Current Balance

Your brand's current L$ balance

Total Deposits

All-time L$ added via Payment HUD

Total Deductions

All-time L$ spent on subscriptions

Total Refunds

All-time L$ refunded to your balance

Transaction History

The transaction table shows every balance change with full details. Each row includes:

Date & Time

When the transaction occurred

Type

Color-coded badge: Deposit (green), Deduction (red), or Refund (blue)

Description

What the transaction was for, plus the payer name if applicable (for deposits)

Amount

The L$ amount with + (deposit/refund) or - (deduction) prefix, color-coded green or red

Balance Before / After

Your balance before and after the transaction, so you can track how your balance changed over time

Source

Where the transaction originated from (e.g. Payment HUD, Auto-Pay, System)

Tips

Keep Your Balance Funded

Check your balance regularly to ensure you have enough L$ for automatic subscription renewals. If your balance runs out, your subscription may lapse.

Track Co-Creator Payments

If you're on the Enterprise plan, you can see deposits made by your Co-Creators. Their payer name will appear in the description column.

Use for Bookkeeping

The balance before/after columns make it easy to verify all transactions and ensure accurate accounting of your brand's L$ balance.

Platform Announcements

Stay updated with platform news and updates

What Are Announcements?

The Announcements page shows important platform-wide messages from the BloggerSL team. These can include new feature releases, maintenance notices, policy changes, and general updates.

Announcements are sorted with unread items first, then by priority level, and finally by date.

  • Full message content with HTML formatting, links, and images
  • Clickable images that open in a full-screen lightbox
  • Priority level and tag in the colored header
  • "Mark as Read" button to dismiss the unread status

Once marked as read, the announcement will lose its glowing purple border and move below unread items in the list. The unread counter in the header updates automatically.

Tips

Check Regularly

Important platform updates like maintenance windows or policy changes are posted here. Check the announcements page regularly or look for the unread badge in your sidebar.

Urgent = Action Required

Urgent priority announcements usually require your attention or action. Read these immediately to avoid disruptions to your service.

Announcements Expire

Some announcements have an expiry date and will automatically disappear when no longer relevant.

Live Chat Support

Real-time messaging with your bloggers

What is Live Chat?

The Live Chat page provides a real-time messaging system between brand admins and their bloggers. You can have one-on-one conversations, share files, and provide direct support to each blogger.

The chat interface features a split-panel layout — a blogger list on the left and a chat window on the right. On mobile, the chat opens fullscreen for a better experience.

Blogger List

The left panel shows all approved bloggers in your brand. The list is sorted by unread messages first, then by recent activity.

Search

Type in the search box to instantly filter bloggers by name

Online Status

Each blogger shows a colored status dot: green (online, active within 5 min), amber (idle, 5-30 min), or gray (offline, 30+ min)

Last Message Preview

Chat Header

Shows the blogger's name (clickable — links to their profile), avatar, and online status. Includes buttons for sound toggle, delete chat history, and close/back.

Message Bubbles

Your messages appear in purple gradient on the right. Blogger messages appear in a subtle glass style on the left. Each bubble shows the message text, timestamp, and profile photo.

Read Receipts

Your sent messages show a single gray check (✓ sent) or double blue checks (✓✓ read) so you know when the blogger has seen your message.

Typing Indicator

When the blogger is typing, an animated dot indicator appears at the bottom of the chat

Sending Messages

The input area at the bottom of the chat window provides several ways to communicate:

Text Messages

Type your message (up to 5,000 chars) and press Enter or click Send

Emoji Picker

Delete Chat History

Click the trash icon in the chat header to delete the entire conversation history with a blogger. This action requires confirmation.

Sound Notifications

Sound Enabled

Click the speaker icon in the chat header to toggle. Your preference is saved in browser storage.

Sound Disabled

When muted, you'll still see unread badges update but won't hear notification sounds.

Image Viewer

When an image attachment is sent in the chat, it appears as a clickable thumbnail. Click on any image to open it in a full-screen lightbox viewer with:

  • Full-resolution image display
  • File name and size information
  • Download button to save the image
  • Press Esc or click outside to close

Tips

Direct Chat Link

You can link directly to a specific blogger's chat by adding ?blogger_id=123 to the URL. The chat will automatically open when the page loads.

Mobile Optimized

On mobile devices, the chat opens in fullscreen mode for a native app-like experience. Use the back arrow to return to the blogger list.

Real-Time Updates

Messages update automatically every 3 seconds when a chat is open, and unread badges refresh every 15 seconds in the background. No need to manually refresh the page.

Blogger Only

This chat is for communicating with bloggers. Team members (managers, co-creators) use the separate Team Chat feature instead.

Team Chat

Group messaging for your entire team

What is Team Chat?

Team Chat is a group messaging channel for your brand. Unlike Live Chat (which is one-on-one), Team Chat is a shared room where all team members — brand admins, managers, co-creators, and approved bloggers — can communicate together.

The page header shows the number of currently online team members and any unread messages.

Sending Messages

The input bar at the bottom of the chat offers several ways to communicate:

Text Messages

Type your message (up to 500 characters) and press Enter or click the send button.

Emoji Picker

Click the smiley button to open the emoji panel with popular emojis.

Image Sharing

Click the image icon to upload and share an image (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP — max 1 MB).

Your Mentions

When you are mentioned, your name glows in gold with a pulsing animation, and the entire message row gets a gold left border highlight.

Other Mentions

Mentions of other people appear in blue, making it easy to see who is being addressed.

Replying to Messages

Hover over any message to reveal the reply button. When you reply:

  • A reply preview appears above the input showing the original message
  • Your message will be linked to the original, showing a quoted reference
  • Click the X on the reply preview to cancel replying

Role Badges

Each team member's messages display a colored role badge next to their name:

Admin

Brand owner/admin

Manager

Team manager

Co-Creator

Brand co-creator

Scroll to the top of the chat to automatically load older messages. Messages are loaded in batches as you scroll up.

Auto-Linking

URLs pasted in messages are automatically converted to clickable links, so you can easily share product pages or resources.

Different from Live Chat

Team Chat is a group channel for your entire brand team. Use Live Chat for private one-on-one conversations with individual bloggers.

Real-Time Updates

New messages appear automatically without refreshing. Typing indicators show when someone is composing a message.

Brand Rules & Requirements

Set the rules and requirements for blogger applications

What Are Brand Rules?

The Brand Rules page lets you define the rules, requirements, and custom application fields that bloggers must review and complete when applying to join your brand.

The page is organized into four tabs: Rules, Requirements, Custom Fields, and Preview.

Access: Brand Admins or team members with the Manage Settings permission.

Rules Tab

Write your brand's complete rules and terms using the built-in WYSIWYG editor. This is what bloggers will see when they apply to your brand.

The editor toolbar includes:

Bold Italic Underline Links Bullet List Numbered List Clear Formatting

Requirements Tab

Set the technical requirements bloggers must meet to apply:

Minimum Flickr Followers

Set the minimum number of Flickr followers required. Quick-pick buttons available: 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 3,000, and 5,000.

Additional Requirements

Free-text field for any extra requirements beyond Flickr followers — such as Second Life group membership, prior experience, etc.

Custom Fields Tab

Create custom questions and fields that appear on your brand's application form. These let you collect specific information from applicants.

Available field types:

Text Input

Long Text

Checkbox

Radio Buttons

Dropdown

Number

URL

Email

Each field can be configured with a label, type, required/optional toggle, and placeholder text (or options for select/radio/checkbox types).

Preview Tab

Switch to the Preview tab to see exactly how your rules, requirements, and custom fields will appear to bloggers when they open your application form. The preview updates in real-time as you make changes in other tabs.

Saving Changes

A sticky save bar is fixed at the bottom of the page. Click "Save Rules" to save all changes across all tabs at once. Changes are not auto-saved — you must click Save.

Tips

Preview Before Saving

Always check the Preview tab before saving to ensure everything looks correct from the blogger's perspective.

Use Custom Fields Wisely

Custom fields appear on the application form. Use them to collect relevant information like portfolio links, social media handles, or experience level.

Format Your Rules

Use bold text for important points, bullet lists for requirements, and links to reference external resources. Well-formatted rules are easier for bloggers to read.

Statistics Cards

Four stat cards at the top show your key metrics across all brands:

Total Assignments

Approved Submissions

Number of blog posts that have been approved by brands.

Approved + Success Rate

Deadlines

The dashboard shows two types of deadline information:

Upcoming Deadlines

Shows up to 5 product deadlines within the next 7 days. Color-coded by urgency: red (1 day), orange (2-3 days), blue (4-7 days). Click any deadline to open that product.

Monthly Posts Progress

If a brand requires a minimum number of posts per month, a progress bar shows how many you've submitted vs. the requirement.

Vacation Alerts

If you have an active or scheduled vacation in any brand, the dashboard displays alerts:

Pending

Your vacation request is waiting for brand approval.

Scheduled

Vacation is approved and will start on the scheduled date.

On Vacation

Vacation is currently active. No products will be assigned during this period.

If you have pending products when your vacation is about to start, a warning banner will appear reminding you to complete them before your vacation begins.

As an approved member, you have access to:

View Rules Request Vacation Leave Brand

If a brand admin freezes your account, you cannot request products or submit blog posts for that brand. You can:

Appeal Freeze Leave Brand

The appeal sends a notification and email to the brand admin with your message. You can only send 1 appeal per 7 days per brand (max 500 characters).

View Rules

Clicking "View Rules" opens a modal showing the brand's complete rules and requirements:

Brand Rules

The full rules text set by the brand admin.

Required Platforms

Leave Brand

Leaving a brand is permanent. Your status will be set to "left" and you will lose access to that brand's products. You can optionally provide a reason.

Sponsored Ads

At the top of the page, you may see sponsored brand advertisements. These are ads placed by brands looking for new bloggers.

Apply Now

Click to apply to the brand or view more details about the ad.

Dismiss

Hide an ad you're not interested in. It will be removed for the current session.

Tips

Always check the brand's rules before requesting products. Each brand has its own blogging requirements and deadlines.

Complete all pending products before requesting a vacation. You cannot go on vacation with unfinished assignments.

If your account gets frozen, use the Appeal button to send a message to the brand admin explaining your situation. Keep it professional and concise.

Sponsored brands (those running active ads) appear first with a golden border and "Sponsored" badge.

Search & Statistics

Use the search box to filter brands by name. A counter shows how many brands match your search out of the total.

Four stat cards provide a quick overview:

Brand Logo

Square logo image (SL texture or uploaded file). If no logo, shows the first letter of the brand name.

Brand Name & Followers

Brand name and either minimum follower requirement (e.g. "Min: 500") or "Open to all" if no minimum.

Sponsored Badge

Brands running active ads appear first with a golden border and "Sponsored" badge at the top-right corner.

Hover Effect

Hovering over a card lifts it up and reveals an "Apply Now" button. Clicking the card opens the brand detail modal.

Application Modal

Clicking a brand card opens a detailed modal with multiple sections:

About Brand

The brand's description, giving you an overview of what they do.

Store & Social Links

In-world store SL URL, website, and all brand social links (Flickr, Instagram, etc.). Links are deduplicated automatically.

Recent Products

Up to 5 recent product images from the brand. Hover over each to see the product name.

Requirements & Rules

Brand rules, minimum follower count, required platforms, and additional requirements. Read these carefully before applying.

Custom Application Fields

Some brands require extra information. Fields can be text, textarea, dropdown, checkbox, radio buttons, URL, or number inputs. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.

Application Process

When you click "Apply Now":

1

Your application is submitted with any custom field responses.

2

The brand admin receives a notification and email about your application.

3

The brand appears in your "My Brands" page with Pending status.

4

Wait for approval. You'll receive a notification when accepted.

Special Cases

Re-application

If you were previously rejected, you can apply again. Your status is changed back to "Pending".

Waiting List

If the brand has reached its blogger limit, you're added to a waiting list instead. Your queue position is shown in the success message.

Cannot Apply If

You are already a member, have a pending application, are in the waiting list, or your account is frozen for that brand.

Tips

Always read the brand's rules and requirements before applying. Some brands have specific follower counts, required platforms, or custom application questions.

Complete your profile (photo, bio, social links) before applying. Brand admins review your profile when deciding on applications.

Sponsored brands are highlighted with golden borders. They are actively looking for bloggers and may have faster response times.

Check the "Recent Products" section in the brand modal to see what kind of products the brand offers before applying.

Overview

The Invites page shows all pending brand invitations sent to your Second Life avatar. When a brand admin invites you, the invite appears here as a card with brand details and action buttons.

Only pending and non-expired invites are shown. Once you accept or reject an invite, it disappears from the list.

Invite Card

Each invite card shows the following information:

Brand Logo & Name

The brand's logo and name are displayed at the top.

Expiration Date

Each invite has an expiration date. After this date, the invite is no longer valid and disappears.

Brand Description

A brief description of the brand (if available).

Brand Statistics

Number of active bloggers, number of products, and minimum follower requirement (if any).

Brand Links

Quick links to the brand's marketplace, in-world store (SL URL), and Flickr page.

Accepting & Rejecting

Accept Invite

When you accept an invite:

  • A pending application is created for you at that brand.
  • The brand admin receives a notification and email.
  • The brand appears in your "My Brands" page as Pending.
  • The invite is marked as "accepted".

Reject Invite

When you reject an invite:

  • The invite is marked as "declined".
  • The brand admin is notified via email.
  • The invite disappears from your list.
  • You can still apply to the brand later via the Brand Pool.

You cannot accept an invite if you are already a member of or have applied to that brand.

Tips

Check your invites regularly. Invitations expire after a set time and cannot be recovered once expired.

Use the brand links on the invite card to research the brand before accepting. Check their marketplace, in-world store, and Flickr to understand their style.

Accepting an invite creates a pending application, not an automatic membership. The brand admin still needs to approve you.
